Blocks
AXIO uses blocks to build the body of a page. You can select blocks in any order while building the page, and many blocks can be nested within each other. Blocks are divided into several categories
Structure blocks
These are used to structure your page. If you want your page to display more than one column for instance, you can use a Columns Block. Or if you want to display items in a grid, you can use the Grid Block. Other structure blocks include Archive block and Accordion. These blocks are meant to organise and contain other (content) blocks.
Content blocks
Content blocks contain the actual content displayed on w web page. There are blocks for many different types of content, like rich text, media, media and text together, forms, charts, tables and more.
When to us what
Many blocks can be heavily customised. You'll quickly learn when to use which type of block. Playing around with some blocks on a test page may help you understand their strengths and behaviour. Resize you window to see how different blocks behave on different screen sizes. Items in a Columns Block might look the same as items in a Grid Block on one screen, but completely different on another screen for instance.
